Woodhaven® Firewood Racks are one of our most recognized brands.

We started building Firewood Storage racks back in 1995. We talked to firewood experts and invented the short cover that keeps the top of the firewood dry no matter how full the rack is and allows for airflow within the wood to promote natural curing.

We started with one size, but the Woodhaven® line quickly grew to eight sizes and two styles. We now sell through different means in the US, Canada, Japan, Australia, and now all of Europe.

Why they are so well liked

A lot of reasons, first of all, we take pride in every aspect of our design, it is not just something that we "Threw together" to put something on the market.

Taking pride in our products goes far beyond just the design, it includes using a certain type of steel that will hold the finish better and longer, the actual Powder Paint we use, even the Pre treatment process we use before painting. We maintain our own specifications on the end caps and even the Bolts and nuts. Pride is precision drilling of the holes and maintaining quality control on all of our equipment and on the whole manufacturing process. Pride is making sure that our covers are strong as possible, and our boxing is of the right design and quality to protect our wood racks in shipment. Pride is also in our employees who are all legal American workers, and in our commitment to provide profit sharing, health insurance, and a good place to work. Pride is investing in technology so that we can be efficient and keep pricing down. Pride is in protecting our ideas through the US Patent system.

Sure it would be easier to send a print off shore and get these back in a container, but this is our invention, it is our name. There is no replacement for the personal involvement we have in anything we produce. In the long term, efficient companies that provide consistent products will always have a market. For instance, we do not just produce "a Firewood Rack" we produce "Our Firewood Rack" is not just firewood storage to us, it is a product that we take pride in.

Why does this matter?

It matters because ultimately consumers will demand Quality and Service. Quality shows up in bolt holes that actually line up and tolerances so close that the ends don’t wobble. Quality is a really tough, textured black finish that is heavier and tougher than what others would use. Service is us keeping them in stock and almost always shipping within 24 hours. Service is a lifetime warranty from a company founded in 1927 and still under the same family ownership today.
